Mini-Objectives - Occasionally, mini-objectives will appear such as Capture the Briefcase or Kill the Wanted Criminal and completing these will unlock a powerful super style skill, adding a wrinkle to gameplay and more style to the player.

Do you like arena shooters but wish there was more John Woo-like action? Double Action: Boogaloo can fill that void. Kill count alone will not let you top the scoreboards here because it's all about how you get kills. Slides, flips. rolls, dives, grenades, and slow motion accumulate style points and the most points wins.
Style, Style, and More Style
A theme should be sensed here. This game is all about over-the-top frenetic action. Each player has a style meter and filling the meter will allow players to use chosen style skills. These include Marksman for more weapon damage, Athlete for better speed and stunts, Bouncer for more melee damage, Reflexes for better reflexes and super slow motion, and Nitrophilic for more grenades and more explosions. Enemy kills also accumulates seconds of slow motion. Did you jump out of a high-rise and have someone chasing you? Slow down time to have an air battle or play out your Matrix fantasy. The mini-objectives also add a nice wrinkle to gameplay and completing them allows access to a super style skill which is a combination of all the style skills in one.
This review is short and simple. This is an arena shooter where "too much" doesn't exist. It's a fast-paced package with plenty of action. The maps are designed around ensuring grand spectacle and could easily be action movie set pieces. You can shoot through walls, slide around corners, dive from huge explosions, jump off high-rises, or slow down time and it isn't for show; it's a necessity to winning.
